Show Me?
Glimpse™ can
present real-time traffic and other information
in a variety of ways. These include:
Map Application
Glimpse features powerful
mapping capability. Real-time maps can be
displayed showing traffic speeds, locations
of incidents (such as accidents, construction,
etc.), traffic cameras, and other features.
Chances are, any information your data-collection
hardware can come up with, Glimpse can map
it in real time. The maps can be zoomed,
panned, or recentered as need. Incident
sites or cameras are represented with icons
which, when clicked, call up the desired
information or images. Alternate colour
schemes can also be utilized for users with
limited color vision.
Text-Based Information
For those who can't
use maps, or don't want to, Glimpse can
translate vital traffic information (such
as speeds, or travel times between landmarks)
into text-based tables which are easy to
grasp and perfect for use with screen reader
technology (for the visually impaired).
Content Management Capabilities
for Static Content
Glimpse also allows
you to update more static content (such
as traffic alerts, links, or occasional
information) quickly and easily through
use of an intuitive content management system.
